A recent archival find..

This is a handful of recordings from the first bust up Yamaha SY99 synth I was given, from a local university in OZ. All I was told was that someone had "accidentally reversed over it". It kind of still worked, but some of the voices would begin and seem to disintegrate, others would get completely lost into clicks and digital distortions. These recordings feature some snippets of v rare manual playing, as well some sessions with cellular automata sequences driving. Some other takes from this session were originally used on the NYZ - DRN4 tape on .MEDS and there's a tiny little more backstory on how I finally made 2x bust up SY99's into one good one here =>
